Important update about the HUGE deal going on at World Market!

So earlier I posted a deal about World Market and their 50% off sale on holiday baking essentials (it's posted below but you can also click here to read it).  I stopped by to check it out (after printing my $10 off a $30 coupon purchase) to see what it was all about.  Boy, did I hit the jackpot!  You see, just the other night I was saying to ThriftyGuy how we've had the same bakeware for years and years and how it's getting old and gross and we should get finally splurge and replace it all.  And then this sale comes along.  Seriously -how awesome is that?!

I wanted to show you how we did as an example scenario...  to let you see how truly great of a promotion this is!  We ended up purchasing the following items (all on sale for 50% off except the oil bottle):
  • 8.5" square cake pan
  • 9" round cake pan
  • 9" x 13" cookie/jelly roll pan
  • Two 11" x 17" cookie/jelly roll pans
  • 24 cup mini-muffin pan
  • Silicon baking molds (total of 24 mini cups)
  • Oil bottle

Everything I got on my shopping adventure at World Market today!

I was very impressed at the quality of the pans - they are nonstick, heavy duty, totally-worth-the-money-and-then-some type of pans!

So how did I do in the end?  Well, you tell me:

Yes, you are reading right!  We spent $23.07 (that includes tax) on all items in the picture above and saved $36.50!!  That's a phenomenal deal!  And to think that I got a new olive oil bottle (our last one broke) and had the opportunity to replace all of our bakeware, all for just $23!!

So the moral of the story is....  This would be a great time to get those new baking sheets, cookie cutters, etc. that you have been wanting!  It would also be a good time to stock up on Christmas gifts!  Or even better - have an upcoming wedding?  Some bakeware plus a nice set of towels or spices would be a fantastic thrifty gift!  So many possibilities for so cheap - I just had to share!! : )

Remember - the sale is going on through Sunday (11/21), but the coupon is only valid until this Saturday (11/20)!  Click here for more info or to print your coupon now!

I did this too! Spent $28 and saved $42. It's an amazing deal, and keep your eyes peeled for things that you wouldn't think to be on sale- because they might be! We got a cute 'Ramen' bowl, with chopsticks, for $3.66 after the deal and coupon- it's going to make a great christmas present!
