Essentially the way it works is like this: After making a qualifying purchase, you'll receive your Free Companion Activation Certificate. There will be a toll-free number to call for booking your trip on one of the six (6) major U.S. carriers. To qualify for the Free Companion ticket, the minimum available published coach-class round-trip airfare before taxes, passenger facility charges, and surcharges must be over $349.00 (9/15-1/15) or over $379.00 (1/16-9/14). Plus, as stated above, you'll also be responsible for all taxes for both tickets and a $20 reservation fee. Then, of course there's the normal restrictions. Airfares must be: round-trip (multi-city, open jaw, and one-way trips do not apply); coach-class; booked at least 14 days in advance; include a Saturday night stay; and duration may not last longer than 30 days."
