Coupons, coupons everywhere!

It seems that more and more these days, coupons are popping up everywhere you look.  They used to be sole property of the Sunday paper, but these days everything from magazines to food packing is boasting coupons (and some pretty good value ones at that!)

Here are some places I have found coupons just in the past few days:

Magazines:
-Taste of Home (Dec/Jan 2010 issue; pages 42-43): $5 off any purchase of $5 or greater at Hallmark
     -Family Circle (Dec 2009 issue):
          - pg. 16: 15% off your next purchase at The Children’s Place (valid through 12/6; excludes Black Friday; online shoppers use code Family119)
-pg. 78: Free $25 Target gift card with the purchase of 1 Braun Shaver (exp. 12/26)
-pg. 175: $0.55 off any Johnsonville Sausage (exp. 1/31)
          - Insert: $5 off any purchase of $5 or greater at Hallmark
-Also good to note:  I have found coupons in magazines I would have never thought possible:  Shape, Maxim, Glamour, Southern Living...

Food packaging:
-Dole Parfait:  $0.75 off any 2 Fruit Parfaits
-Banquet Frozen Dinners:  1 meal had 10 coupons in it worth $6 in savings!
-Also good to check:  Boxes of rice, cereal, ice cream, etc.  Make sure to look over all packaging before discarding it!

Websites:
-Scotties is currently offering a $0.50 off coupon (click Here)
-We know all of the regular sites:  coupons.com, redplum.com, etc.  If you need a coupon and can't find it, don't give up!  Use Yahoo or Google and search for it!  Taking an extra minute or two could lead to more savings!!  (I have done this a billion times; thinking I didn't have a coupon, searching for it on the internet and finding it, and getting the item super cheap or even free!!

So the point of this post is:  keep your eyes peeled - you never know when or where you are going to find a coupon (and when or where it will come in handy!)  There seems to be an increasing trend of companies offering more and more coupons these days - I love it!  Keep them organized and wait for a good sale - that's how you'll get the most bang for your buck!  : )
