I will be honest: I consider myself pretty savvy when it comes to couponing, deals, etc. I have talked the guy at Best Buy into knocking off more than $1000 off my TV a few years back (and throwing in a FREE TV stand and ottoman!). I know how to stack coupons, spot a deal from a mile away, and talk people into giving me what I want. I however, will admit that I never knew the following: you can use multiple coupons at Michaels. (Feel free to gasp in shock and excitement!) According to Michele, as long as they are not of the same value, you can stack them.
For instance: She recently went to Michael’s armed with the following:
-50% off any one regular priced item (A.C. Moore coupon)
-40% off any one regular priced item (Michael’s coupon)
-20% off your entire order (Michael’s coupon)
I already knew that you could use an A.C. Moore coupon at Michael’s. But I did not know that, since the above coupons are for 3 different amounts, you can use them all in one transaction. (You could not do this if, say, both the Michael’s and AC Moore coupons were for 40% off).
Michele’s order started off at $47. After the above coupons and a $25 gift card? She paid just a smidge over $2 for everything! Now that is definitely ThriftyGrl approved! : ) Thanks again to Michele for the info! I cannot wait to try this coupon stacking out myself! : )
